Employment and Immigration Solicitor

Denis Joined the Firm in December 2021 as an Employment law and Immigration specialist.

Denis holds a Degree in Law from Glamorgan University, a Postgraduate diploma in law, and a Master of Laws (LLM) focused on legal practice from Staffordshire University.

After graduating, Denis started his career working in the field of Immigration when living and working as a visa consultant for several years in China assisting international students apply to Ireland and the UK.

Denis continued his work in the UK in the field of Immigration, nationality, and Human rights law and was a qualified advocate representing in Tribunals before qualifying as a supervisor and then qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2011.

Denis’s expertise in employment dates as far back as 2010 in England and Wales, prior to moving to Northern Ireland he was Head of Department in Employment. Denis continued to practice employment law in Northern Ireland and subsequently Employment law and Immigration in the Republic of Ireland including representation at Tribunals, Courts, WRC and the Labour Court, and undertaking all aspects of Immigration and Nationality applications and appeals. Denis Joined the Roll of Solicitors in the Republic of Ireland in 2019.

Denis heads up our Immigration and Employment Department helping both claimant and respondents with all aspects of employment claims or defence of claims including general advice and guidance covering both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Denis helps our Immigration clients with Irish or British citizenship applications, and all visa applications covering the UK and the Republic of Ireland such as work permits, spouse or partner visas, EEA rights and post Brexit EEA rights, business visa applications, and much more. He has featured in the media on Immigration news stories and has been interviewed for ITV, and the Irish Times to name a few
